Olaf Grawert Violin Maker and Restorer in Townsville

Hi readers & string players!

Every year, we are lucky enough to have Olaf Grawert (violin maker/restorer) come up to Townsville around August, just in time for the AFCM (Australian Festival of Chamber Music). Olaf also brings with him a number of older instruments and bows (violins, violas, cellos), well worth a try, particularly if you have been thinking of buying a new instrument. There really is nothing quite like becoming acquainted with a truly resonant, responsive and warm sounding violin!

This year, Olaf Grawert will be working in Mount Louisa by appointment, from the 3rd to the 7th of August.
